My home is East Tennessee, where I live in a cabin with a husky named Rocket. An editor by trade, I spend my days buried in manuscript pages and my evenings cradling the spines of well-loved books. I devote as much time as possible to backpacking the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Nothing sets my spirit right quite like being in the woods.
My writing career began in first grade with a horror story a bit too gruesome for a six-year-old. I published my first piece during my junior year of high school. I played softball for eighteen years before losing my senior collegiate season to a severe concussion, an experience that tested me and reshaped my identity.
I'm a die-hard Yankees fan. I love dark chocolate and dark coffee. I have a slight obsession with Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And I will always choose vinyl over digital.
