Everyone is looking for ways to grow their social media followings and maximize their time. Especially writers. Every second we spend dealing with social media is time away from what’s really important—our work.
You can see I have separate Jukeboxes for hashtags associated with days of the week. For example, my “ArchiveDay” jukebox is set to post only on Saturdays. Social Jukebox also has a nifty feature that lets you add a hashtag to an entire jukebox. So I could add #ArchiveDay to every single tweet in that Jukebox with one click. This is a great way to make sure you’re recycling old blog posts. Twitter moves so fast, not all your followers are going to see every post. Plus, your new followers will appreciate links to your older content.
I used to spend an inordinate amount of time each week scheduling posts for each hashtag. I had a list of every blog post I’d ever written. I would go into Hootsuite and manually write and schedule tweets for specific days. It was absolutely ridiculous and not sustainable. I recognized that these types of hashtags were key to spreading the word about my blog, but it was simply too time-consuming to schedule enough tweets to reach all the communities I wanted to.
That’s when I decided to upgrade to Social Jukebox’s Advanced Plan, which allows for 10 Jukeboxes and 5,000 tweets—as opposed to the Free Plan’s 2 Jukeboxes and 300 tweets.
My blog traffic immediately spiked. I’m talking tripled—and stayed that way. Plus, I didn’t realize exactly how much time I was spending scheduling those posts until I didn’t have to anymore. I suddenly had an extra hour a day, and I think we all know how big a deal that is.
You can also search for tweets in a specific Jukebox or (new feature, which I love) across Jukeboxes.

The Auto Schedule is the simplest way to schedule your Jukeboxes. Tell it how many times you want to post per day, and it takes care of the messy parts.
Analytics lets you check out things like your mentions and DMs from within the app.
That’s the basics of Social Jukebox! I know the interface can look a bit intimidating, but it’s extremely intuitive. Once you get in there, you’ll have your Jukeboxes set up within the hour. And then you can forget about tweeting and scheduling content. Your posts will go out automatically, and you’ll have time for more important things--ahem, writing!
